Southwest - Canyon Blue Retro | 737-MAX8
The "red-belly" paint scheme from 2001 now dedicated to Southwest's former President Colleen C. Barrett. The previous plane that once held the "Heroine of the Heart" sticker was a Boeing 737-7H4 registered as N266WN. That particular 737-7H4 had the Canyon Blue colors with that sticker while the newer Boeing 737-MAX8, registered as N872CB, had just been in service holding the same sticker. N266WN was soon repainted to the standard Heart livery in Spokane, Washington, leaving N872CB the only plane holding the "Heroine of the Heart" sticker.
At the time of this livery being posted, only ten canyon blue 737-700s and two canyon blue 737-800s remain in Southwest's fleet, thus earning the name "retro".
REQUIREMENTS
1. X-Plane 11.50+ (XP11 Users) or X-Plane 12.xx (XP12 Users)
2. Max Team Design Boeing 737-MAX8
a) AIRCRAFT INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS USERS - XP11 (as of September 11, 2023)
i) Download Zibo v3.49 FULL (click here) & Zibo v3.49.16 FIX (click here) to have Zibo v3.49.16 as the base.
- Delete the entire "liveries" folder that are full of Zibo liveries.
- Rename the aircraft's folder to "Boeing 737-MAX8".
ii) Download MAX8 MOD v5.1 and MAX8 MOD v5.1.1 FIX (click here).
- Place the "Zibo Files Cleanup Tool" .bat file into the MAX8 aircraft folder. Run the .bat file.
- Extract MAX8 MOD v5.1 contents into the MAX8 aircraft folder. Overwrite as prompted.
- Extract MAX8 MOD v5.1.1 FIX contents into the MAX8 aircraft folder. Overwrite as prompted.
INSTALLATION
1. 737-MAX8 Mod v5.1.1: X-Plane 11/Aircraft/.../Boeing 737-MAX8/liveries/
2. 737-MAX8 (XP12): X-Plane 12/Aircraft/.../Boeing 737-MAX8/liveries/
